W Brisbane located at 81 N Quay, Brisbane City QLD 4000 is hiring a Part Time Demi Chef. As a Demi Chef in a luxury hotel, you will have the opportunity to uphold the exceptional culinary standards expected in a premium hospitality setting.

To be a successful Demi Chef you will have the following:

- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklists
- Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent food quality, efficient service, and smooth kitchen operations
- Support the senior chefs by ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked workstation while upholding all hygiene, food safety, and sanitation protocols
- Contribute to mentoring and guiding junior chefs and kitchen team members as needed
- Ensure the work station is organized, restocked and adhering to hygiene and safety standards
- The best hotel training opportunities produced independently by WBrisbane and internationally recognized training programs by Marriott International.

As a Part Time Demi Chef you are expected to work 35-20 hours per week.
