We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our busy food distribution warehouse.
The successful applicant must be physically fit, have a strong work ethic and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Receiving and putting away stock
- Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment
- Working in chilled and freezer environments
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
Essential Requirements
- Must be available to start work 4am
- Must be willing and able to work in chilled and freezer environments
- Current manual driver's licence (essential)
- Current forklift licence (LF) (essential)
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude
