About the Role

New Edge Group is seeking an experienced Intermediate/Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our Queensland operations, based in Brisbane .

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded Project Manager to take ownership of electrical projects across the commercial, industrial and logistics sectors , working with builders, developers, clients, subcontractors and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage electrical projects from planning through to completion

- Manage project budgets, costs, forecasts and financial performance

- Review project scopes, specifications, drawings and contractual requirements

- Develop and manage project programs, milestones and critical dates

- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers and materials

- Provide leadership and support to site and project teams

- Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting

- Manage variations, procurement and project documentation

- Liaise with builders, clients, consultants and other contractors

- Identify and manage project, commercial and delivery risks

- Ensure works are completed in accordance with relevant Australian Standards,



project specifications and quality requirements

- Maintain a strong focus on Workplace Health and Safety

- Manage testing, commissioning, handover and project close-out

- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar project delivery role

- Experience delivering commercial and/or industrial electrical projects

- Electrical trade qualification and/or relevant electrical engineering or construction qualification

- Strong understanding of electrical services, drawings and specifications

- Experience managing budgets, procurement, variations and subcontractors

- Strong commercial and contract awareness

- Excellent planning and organisational skills

- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

- Ability to lead and support site and project teams

- Strong understanding of WHS requirements

- Robust computer literacy

- A professional, positive and solutions-focused approach
