About the Role
Brightstar Resources is seeking an experienced and hands-onSupply Chain Lead to oversee the warehouse, inventory and logisticsfunction at our Laverton Processing Plant.
Roster: FIFO, 8 days on / 6 days off
Point of Hire: Perth, Western Australia
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager with a dotted line to theCommercial Manager, this role is critical in ensuring materials,consumables and spare parts are available to support safe andefficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse and stores operations
- Supervise and support Store Persons
- Manage inventory control, stock takes and criticalspares
- Coordinate freight,
deliveries and site logistics
- Track critical deliveries and proactively manage supplyrisks
- Work closely with Maintenance and Operations to supportmaterial requirements.
- Maintain a safe and organised warehouse
- Drive improvements in inventory accuracy, warehouseprocesses and logistics efficiency.
About You
- Experience leading a warehouse, stores or supply chainfunctions in mining, resources or heavy industry
- Strong inventory control and materials managementexperience
- Experience using ERP systems, ideally Pronto
- Strong communication, planning and problem-solvingskills
- A practical, hands-on leadership approach
- Ability to work effectively across Maintenance, Operationsand Commercial teams.
Highly Regarded
- Gold processing or remote site experience
- Experience coordinating freight and logistics to remoteoperations
- Knowledge of critical spares managementForklift Licence and Australian Driver Licence
- Qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics or a relateddiscipline
