Senior Business Analyst — Digital Transformation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a client’s digital transformation programme. You will identify, analyse and document business processes and system requirements, working closely with business stakeholders, project teams and vendors to improve systems and service delivery.

This role suits someone who can work independently, facilitate productive discussions and translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct discovery activities and stakeholder workshops to understand business needs, challenges and opportunities.
- Develop current-state (“As-Is”) and future-state (“To-Be”) process models to support process improvement.
- Prepare business requirements, scope definitions, functional specifications and technical design documentation.
- Contribute to business systems strategies, including architecture and integration considerations.
- Assess proposed solutions against business and technical requirements.




- Develop test scripts aligned with documented specifications and support testing activities.
- Work with project leads, business administrators, vendors and IT teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Communicate progress, risks and issues to management and stakeholders.
- Manage day-to-day priorities independently, exercising sound judgement and escalating matters when required.

About you

- At least 7 years’ experience in business systems analysis and specification .
- Solid documentation skills across business requirements, scope definition and technical design.
- Proven stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and analytical skills.
- Understanding of project delivery methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence and Trello.
- Understanding of cloud environments, network infrastructure, websites and intranets.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Technical knowledge

Knowledge of some or all of the following will be valuable:

- SharePoint
- Telerik and/or Kendo UI
- ASP.NET
- APIs, XML and SQL
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments is highly desirable.
