About the role

Coordinate design and tender activities that help projects progress from initial tender through contract award and handover. Working with the General Manager, design and construction teams, suppliers and subcontractors, you’ll help ensure project information is accurate, compliant and communicated clearly.

Key responsibilities

- Review initial tender documentation, digitise it and maintain it on the server.
- Review design drawings for alignment with project objectives, specifications and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with the design team to assess product suitability and ensure the correct systems are tendered and specified.
- Assist with shop drawings and assemble, review and distribute design and tender packages.
- Check package quantities and take-offs against tender documentation for accuracy and compliance.




- Assist with construction material testing and prepare tender design sketches for review by the General Manager.
- Support design and engineering teams to check tender designs against head contract documentation.
- Track tender and design programmes, identify risks to timelines and help address issues early.
- Coordinate the review and communication of contract and ongoing project documentation between design and construction teams.
- Manage RFIs through the tender and design processes, following up queries promptly and accurately.
- Liaise with the General Manager, design and construction teams, suppliers, subcontractors and other external stakeholders.
- Prepare and share tender and design status reports so relevant parties have current project information.
- Support the transition of successful tenders through contract award and handover to the Design Manager, keeping commercial and design information clear and accurate.Manage RFIs through the tender and design processes, following up queries promptly and accurately.

About you

- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
- The ability to interpret design drawings and schematics and understand design principles, construction methods and relevant industry requirements.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
- Drafting software skills, including AutoCAD, Revit or SolidWorks.

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience in a similar role is an advantage, but is not essential.
