CPS Technology & Infrastructure are seeking experienced telecommunication technicians with robust RAN & radio equipment installation, commissioning and troubleshooting skills to join our team in Sydney.
Key responsibilities
Read and interpret technical design documents and implement/install equipment as per design
Installation and commissioning of Base Station & Radio equipment, RF feeder & hybrid and associated optical tails / fibre management trays
Swap, installation and commissioning of power units
Installation of Earthing and labelling following client's specification
Perform testing using PIM tester, spectrum analyser and site master
Perform testing with Fibrescope and light source on fibre cables
Liaise with RIC team to integrate and troubleshoot
Carry out post integration call tests to verify cell configurations,
hand off parameters and call quality
Technically assist riggers on-site
Troubleshooting of equipment and systems
About you
Minimum 5 years' demonstrated experience in the telecommunication industry
Experience with TPG & Optus specifications, standards and HSE guidelines
Experience working on TPG and Optus (4G/5G)
Experience working with Huawei/Ericsson/Nokia equipment
Sound understanding of WHS requirements and responsibilities - including SWMS, MOP, JSA's
Excellent written & oral communications skills
Appropriately skilled with MS applications including excel and word
