We're partnering with a well-known Queensland organisation seeking an experienced L2 IT Support Engineer to join their team immediately and help drive service improvements across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working autonomously and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The Chance

You’ll act as the first point of escalation for end-user support issues while helping reduce a significant support ticket backlog. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll provide both face-to-face and remote support across a modern Microsoft environment.

This role is hands‑on and ideal for someone who enjoys making an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Providing Level 2 support across users, endpoints and workplace technology
- Managing user accounts and access requests within Microsoft Entra ID
- Supporting device deployment, configuration and troubleshooting through Intune
- Resolving incidents and service requests while maintaining SLA commitments
- Providing face‑to‑face and phone-based support to end users
- Managing and prioritising tickets through Jira
- Supporting hardware installations,

About You

- Previous Level 2 IT Support or Desktop Support experience
- Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune administration skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Experience working within SLA and KPI-driven support environments'
- Currently based in Brisbane
- Can pass a Police Check
- Can start within a two week period

Highly regarded

- Experience reducing support backlogs or improving service desk performance
- Strong CSAT results or customer service recognition
- Experience working within government, enterprise or corporate environments
