Chef – Full time PositionSushi Lovers Rabybay Japanese RestaurantEmployer: Zesty Food Pty LtdLocation: Shop 13, 152–166 Shore Street West, Cleveland QLD 4163Position: Chef (ANZSCO )Employment Type: Full-time, 38 hours per weekAnnual Salary: AUD $80,000 plus superannuationAbout UsSushi Lovers Rabybay Japanese Restaurant, operated by Zesty Food Pty Ltd, is located in the Raby Bay Harbour precinct in Cleveland, Queensland.We are a Japanese restaurant committed to providing fresh, high-quality Japanese cuisine and excellent customer service.We are currently seeking a skilled, enthusiastic and motivated full-time Chef to join our kitchen team.This is a hands-on position offering the opportunity to contribute to menu development, maintain high culinary standards and work within a friendly and supportive team.The RoleAs a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality Japanese dishes, planning menus, maintaining kitchen standards and supporting the efficient daily operations of our kitchen.We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for Japanese cuisine, strong culinary skills and the ability to work effectively in a busy restaurant environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and develop menus, including Japanese dishes and seasonal specials.Prepare, cook and present a variety of Japanese dishes to consistently high standards.Monitor food quality, taste, portion sizes and presentation.Estimate food requirements, food costs and labour costs.Order ingredients and kitchen supplies, monitor stock levels and minimise food waste.Ensure proper storage, handling and rotation of food products.Maintain compliance with Australian food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.Develop and maintain standard recipes, cooking procedures and food presentation standards.Coordinate kitchen activities to ensure efficient and timely food preparation.Train, supervise and guide kitchen staff in cooking techniques,
