About the Role

As a Service Electrician, you will be responsible for electrical maintenance, fault finding, repairs and preventative servicing across healthcare facilities and associated infrastructure.

Your work will help ensure that essential electrical services remain safe, compliant and operational in environments where reliability matters.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs and fault finding.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
- Maintain electrical systems in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and regulations.
- Complete service reports, job documentation and compliance records.
- Liaise professionally with clients, facility managers and other contractors.
- Identify potential risks and recommend practical solutions.
- Work safely and minimise disruption to healthcare operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A current Australian electrical licence.
- Australian driving licence.




- Experience in electrical service, maintenance and fault finding.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A professional attitude and pride in delivering quality workmanship.

Highly regarded:

Experience in healthcare, hospitals, medical centres or other essential-service environments, including familiarity with emergency power systems, generators, UPS systems and essential electrical infrastructure.

Working Hours & Perks

This is a full-time position.

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- Overtime: Regular overtime is available during the week and on weekends (penalty rates apply).

Qualifications

Applicants must hold the following:

- Electricians: Valid Electrical Licence and OH&S; General Induction (White Card).
