What you'll do

Carry out accurate quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications and survey data for tenders and projects

Prepare and check bills of quantities, schedules of rates and pricing inputs

Measure work completed on site and reconcile it against design and tendered quantities

Support progress claims, variations and final account reconciliations with clear measurement records

Review drawings and specifications to identify scope gaps, risks and discrepancies

Track quantities, materials and costs against budget and report variances early

Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers on quantities and orders

Contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strong relationships with clients and councils, and actively pursuing tenders and leads

Assist with project documentation, including ITPs, test records,



compliance certificates and as-built information

Support project planning, programming and site setup

Contribute to a safe work environment and follow all WHS requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in civil engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience

Proven experience in quantity takeoffs and measurement in civil construction

Solid attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy

Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, long sections, cross sections and specifications

Experience with takeoff or estimating software and advanced Excel skills

Good communication skills and a willingness to work with site crews

Current driver's license and ability to work on site

Experience on road, paving, drainage or subdivision projects

Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar

Knowledge of Australian Standards and council or Transport for NSW specifications

Experience preparing progress claims and variations

White Card and any current civil construction tickets
