- Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on crushing and screening equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and equipment breakdowns.
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Repair and replace mechanical components, including bearings, belts, rollers, pulleys and hydraulic components.
- Maintain and repair diesel-powered mobile plant and associated equipment.
- Assist with breakdowns and maintenance activities across crushing and screening plants.
- Identify potential mechanical issues and report faults before they lead to major breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation.
- Follow all site safety procedures, company policies and relevant mine site requirements.
- Work collaboratively with operators, supervisors and other maintenance personnel to support production targets.
About you
- Previous experience maintaining and repairing crushing and screening equipment.
- Experience with mobile crushing and screening plants, particularly Finlay and/or Metso equipment, is highly regarded.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, preventative maintenance and equipment servicing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, flexible and willing to work a 7/7 roster.
- Current driver's licence.
- Ability to meet mine site medical, induction and fitness requirements.
