We are looking for an experienced Area Manager who enjoys being on site, leading people, solving problems, and taking responsibility for service delivery and portfolio growth.

What You’ll Bring

You will be organised, practical, and confident working with both clients and operational teams. Ideally, you will bring:

- Previous experience in cleaning, facilities management, or a similar operational leadership role.
- Strong people management skills, including the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams.
- A structured, detail-focused approach to compliance, reporting, and cost control.
- Working knowledge of WHS requirements and cleaning operations.
- Confidence using operational systems and reporting tools.

Your Role





You will manage the day-to-day performance of your sites and teams, ensuring consistent service standards and strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will cover:

Team Leadership and Service Delivery

- Leading and supporting cleaners and supervisors through regular site visits, training, and performance management via QuayClean Apps.
- Maintaining high cleaning standards across all sites, including equipment care, stock management, and scheduled inspections.
- Ensuring WHS compliance, injury management processes, and safe systems of work are followed.

Client Relationships and Portfolio Growth

- Acting as the primary contact for clients within your portfolio and proactively managing service expectations.
- Handling operational issues and client requests promptly and professionally.
- Coordinating periodic cleaning works and one-off projects as required.
- Identifying opportunities to expand services within existing client portfolios.

Operational and Commercial Management

- Managing rosters, timesheets, standard hours, and labour efficiency.
- Reviewing fortnightly performance data with senior leadership and implementing improvement actions.
