About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Operations Coordinator to lead the rollout, standardisation, and performance optimisation of J&T; Express Australia's nationwide delivery network.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and refine national network management policies, DSP onboarding criteria, and depot SOPs covering service quality, operational workflows, WHS safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead end-to-end partner management-from sourcing, vetting, and onboarding to daily supervision and KPI reviews. Drive continuous improvement across key metrics including On-Time Delivery (OTD), exception rates, customer complaints, and compliance.
- Assess regional parcel volumes and market demand to optimise depot locations and DSP delivery zones. Resolve coverage gaps and capacity bottlenecks to boost nationwide delivery efficiency.
- Track real-time operational data to identify backlogs, delays, or non-compliant activities. Conduct root-cause analysis and execute corrective action plans to close operational loops.
- Standardise daily sorting, linehaul loading, and last-mile delivery processes to minimise parcel damage, loss, or misdelivery.



Conduct regular audits across depots and DSPs to ensure full adherence to Australian logistics regulations and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) laws.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly network performance reviews. Translate operational data and partner metrics into actionable insights for senior leadership to guide network expansion strategies.
- Partner closely with Operations, Sales, and IT teams to resolve bottlenecks during network expansion and peak seasons, aligning infrastructure readiness with commercial growth targets.

About You

- Proven experience in logistics network operations, last-mile management, or 3PL/DSP partner management within the express courier, parcel, or e-commerce freight industry.
- Strong track record in drafting operational SOPs, setting partner KPI frameworks, and standardising multi-site depot operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex operational metrics, pinpoint network bottlenecks, and implement practical solutions.
- Exceptional on-site leadership and negotiation skills, with the confidence to hold external DSP partners accountable while building long-term, collaborative relationships.
- Proactive problem-solver capable of managing peak-season volume surges and operational contingencies in a rapid-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of Australian transport and logistics regulations, WHS standards, and subcontractor compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
