About the role

We wish to appoint a Structural Engineer to our Newcastle office. The successful candidate will work on various projects including project and high-end residential homes and communities, industrial complexes, apartment towers, service stations, club buildings and childcare centres.

As a Engineer your responsibilities will include:





- Preparing sketches for draftsmen to CAD
- Site inspections
- Liaising with Customers & Stakeholders
- A Bachelor’s Degree in civil & structural engineering.
- 3-5 + years of post-graduate professional experience as a Structural Engineer, ideally from a consultancy/design background
- A demonstrated interest in residential construction
- Sound knowledge of relevant design codes & design manuals
- Excellent computer skills including computer analysis of 3-D structures
- A white card
- Knowledge of WHS requirements
- Permanent/full working rights in Australia
