What you'll be doing

Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.

About You

You are a Registered Nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and demonstrate the qualified knowledge, clinical skills and experience required to provide safe, evidence-based care within an acute hospital environment. You apply sound nursing practice principles to assess, monitor and respond to patient needs while maintaining high standards of clinical care and patient safety.

You possess well-developed clinical problem-solving abilities, enabling you to make informed decisions, prioritise care effectively and respond appropriately to changing patient conditions. Your capacity for critical thinking supports the delivery of quality patient outcomes and contributes to the efficient management of complex clinical situations.

You communicate effectively with patients, families and members of the healthcare team through strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. You are proficient in the use of information technology and clinical documentation systems, ensuring accurate record keeping and the timely exchange of information to support continuity of care.

You have a demonstrated ability to plan,



coordinate and deliver patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary team environment. By collaborating with medical, nursing and allied health professionals, you contribute to the achievement of outcome-focused care plans that promote positive patient experiences and optimal health outcomes.

You are adaptable, reliable and committed to meeting the operational requirements of a busy acute healthcare setting, including participation in a seven-day rotating roster incorporating weekends, public holidays and night duty. Your flexibility and dedication ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality care across all shifts and clinical demands.
