Watermark Constructions is seeking a Desktop Estimator to join our team in Warana. This office-based opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys turning claim information into clear repair scopes, accurate cost estimates and practical outcomes.

The opportunity

Based at our Head Office, you'll support the assessment and estimating of insurance building repairs, reviewing available claim documentation, reports, photographs and supporting information to prepare repair estimates.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you'll work closely with our Administration, Projects and Site Supervision teams to clarify repair requirements, resolve information gaps and keep claims moving and deliver accurate, timely outcomes that meet insurer expectations.

What you'll be doing

Reviewing claim information and supporting documentation to establish repair requirements.

Preparing clear, detailed scopes of work and accurate repair cost estimates.

Liaising with site teams, contractors and suppliers to clarify scope details and pricing.

Identifying missing information and following up queries before estimates are finalized.

Keeping claim records, daily tasks, reminders and queries up to date in PRIME Ecosystem.

Working to insurer requirements, agreed turnaround times and business performance standards.

Supporting quality, safety and compliance while looking for ways to improve estimating efficiency.





What you'll bring

You combine practical construction knowledge with a methodical approach. You can spot a missing detail, ask the right questions and produce work that others can confidently act on.

Strong knowledge of building construction, repair methods and associated costs.

Excellent attention to detail and confidence preparing estimates and written reports.

The ability to interpret repair information and recognise when further clarification is needed.

Strong organization skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Clear, professional communication and a collaborative approach.

Confident IT skills and a willingness to learn and use PRIME Ecosystem.

A sound understanding of relevant construction, quality, safety and regulatory requirements.

Experience in insurance repair estimating or a similar desktop estimating role will be highly regarded.
