School Age Care Coordinator and Educational Leader

- Employment Type: Negotiable 30-38 hours per week
- Hourly rate: $44.14 + Educational Leader allowance $2.42 per hour + Worker Retention Allowance
- Working Hours: Split shifts (morning and afternoon), with applicable allowance payable

About the Role:

As our Coordinator/Educational Leader, you will take the lead of a passionate team of educators, crafting innovative programs and nurturing environments where every child can thrive. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to make a real difference and be part of something truly meaningful.

You will receive support from a specialised central team to assist you in your role as Coordinator. This includes an Operations Director, Quality & Compliance Manager, Quality Support team, Roster Clerk and Accounts/ Enrolments team.

What You Will Need:

- A Diploma of Education and Care or equivalent – ACECQA approved (transcript required)
- Understanding of children's diverse needs, including those with varying abilities.
- Prior experience working with children requiring specialised care is advantageous.
- Thorough understanding of National Quality Framework and Regulations, encompassing National Quality Standards, My Time Our Place 2.0, and up-to-date best practices and pedagogies in Care and Education (essential).
- Exceptional leadership and teamwork skills
- Full driver's license and access to a vehicle (preferred)
- Working with Vulnerable People Registration (ACT) or willingness to obtain
- Australian Citizenship or eligibility to work in Australia
- Satisfactory Police Check and First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
