We are seeking an enthusiastic Technical or Scientific Officer to join our Histology Department at Macquarie Park in a 12-month maternity relief role . You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

- Perform routine histology procedures including microtomy (tissue sectioning) and embedding and preparing high-quality slides for staining and analysis, including special stains.




- Maintaining and operating laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Adhering to standard laboratory protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
- Troubleshooting equipment and technical issues as they arise
