Poseidon Building Supplies Pty Ltd - Villawood NSW

This is a hands-on sales role focused on developing current business and managing ongoing B2B customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

- Identifying and approaching new B2B customers, including builders, plumbers, developers, renovators, retailers and other trade businesses
- Making outbound calls and visiting prospective customers
- Introducing our product range and presenting suitable products and pricing
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new customers
- Following up leads, quotations and sales opportunities
- Negotiating pricing and closing sales
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales opportunities
- Working closely with the team on pricing, stock availability, orders and customer requirements
- Identifying recent sales opportunities and areas for business growth

About you

- Previous experience in B2B, wholesale,



trade or field sales not needed but is a plus
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence in cold calling and approaching new customers
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude
- Good negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own sales pipeline
- Experience in bathroomware, plumbing supplies, building materials, construction, kitchens, tiles or related industries will be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right salesperson
