We are a Fine Arts Bronze Foundry, based in Brendale.
Successful applicants will be involved in various manufacturing tasks to help produce and assemble bronze sculptures to the highest standards for various clients. This role requires hands‑on individual with experience in welding/grinding and finishing operations.

Casual position - leading to full time

Contract and piece work options available for experienced candidates

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform welding tasks (MIG, TIG, or other relevant techniques) as required
- Operate various machinery and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist with the assembly and fabrication of bronze sculptures.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and housekeeping protocols.
- Assist with packing and preparation of products for dispatch.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Qualifications:





- Proven experience in welding and general manufacturing or factory operations.
- Minimum 3-5 years of welding experience required.
- Knowledge of MIG and/or TIG welding techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety and hygiene practices.
- Bronze or artistic metalwork experience preferred but not essential.

Expected hours: 38 per week

Please note: This is a physically demanding roll, particularly during the hot QLD summer months. Candidates must be comfortable working in a high temperature setting. We are looking for someone who understands the demands of foundry work.
