Riftyard | Full-Time | Hawkesbury, Sydney NSW
Get paid to make video games, play video games and create ridiculous content for the internet.
We're building Riftyard, an AI-powered gaming platform that allows anyone to create and play video games using artificial intelligence.
And we're looking for someone to become the face of it.
Not your typical social media manager. Not someone who just schedules posts and makes graphics in Canva.
We want someone who's genuinely entertaining, loves gaming, understands internet culture and knows how to make content people actually want to watch.
Your job? Create games, make videos, entertain people and help us build a massive gaming community.

Your job? Create games, make videos, entertain people and help us build a massive gaming community.
What You'll Be Doing
- Creating Games: Use Riftyard to build hilarious, ridiculous, scary, competitive and genuinely fun games.
- Short-Form Content: Create engaging TikToks, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts showcasing games, challenges, funny moments and experiments.
- Long-Form YouTube: Plan, film and edit entertaining YouTube videos based around gaming challenges, game creation and creative experiments.
- On-Camera Personality: Become a recognisable face of Riftyard, talking to the camera,
playing games and engaging with our audience.
- Viral Content: Constantly experiment with new ideas, trends, challenges, hooks and formats to find what gets people watching.
- Community Building: Engage with followers, turn audience suggestions into games and help build a community around the platform.
- Creative Freedom: Pitch your own ideas, experiment with different formats and help shape the direction of our content.
Who We're Looking For
We're not particularly interested in your degree or how many years you've spent working in marketing.
We care about whether you're creative, entertaining and capable of making genuinely good content.
Ideally, you:
- Love video games and understand gaming culture.
- Are confident, funny and comfortable being on camera.
- Understand what makes content go viral on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
- Can film and edit your own videos.
- Have experience with editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut.
- Have a natural ability to tell stories and keep viewers entertained.
- Are constantly coming up with weird and creative ideas.
- Understand gaming YouTubers, streamers, memes and internet trends.
- Can work independently and take an idea from concept to finished video.
- Are excited by AI and the future of gaming.
Bonus points if you've already built a following on TikTok, YouTube or Instagram.
But it's absolutely not essential.
We'd rather hire someone with 500 followers who makes incredible content than someone with 50,000 followers who doesn't.
What Makes This Opportunity Different?
This isn't a position where you'll spend your days creating corporate social media posts.
You'll be joining an early-stage gaming startup with ambitious plans to build something enormous.
We're building a platform where people can create, share and play games, and we want our content to be just as entertaining as the games themselves.
You'll have:
- The opportunity to become the main personality behind a new gaming brand.
- Significant creative freedom to experiment with your own ideas.
- Access to our AI gaming platform to create as many content concepts as possible.
- The ability to build your own personal profile alongside the Riftyard brand.
- A team that understands social media, content creation and growing online audiences.
- The chance to get involved from the early stages and grow with the company.
We want someone who gets genuinely excited about the idea of coming to work and making a horror game about a giant chicken chasing people through a supermarket.
If that's you, we'll probably get along.
What Success Looks Like
We want someone who can consistently produce entertaining content across multiple platforms.
You'll be experimenting with short-form videos daily, developing longer YouTube content and constantly finding recent ways to get people excited about Riftyard.
We're not expecting every video to go viral.
We're looking for someone who enjoys testing ideas, learning what works and improving their content.
Ultimately, your goal is simple:
Make people want to watch Riftyard videos, play Riftyard games and create games of their own.
If you love gaming, creating videos and making people laugh, we want to hear from you.
