Our client is a well-capitalised investor and developer with a growing portfolio of large-scale energy projects across Australia.

Their pipeline includes complex, multi-stakeholder projects at various stages of the development lifecycle, from early-stage opportunity assessment and acquisitions through to approvals, investment decision and delivery. As the portfolio continues to grow, they are seeking a Senior Manager to lead critical land, planning and environmental workstreams that underpin project success.

This role offers the opportunity to work on nationally significant development projects while playing a key role in shaping their success. You'll be involved in some of the most critical aspects of project development, helping to secure land, navigate approvals pathways, manage environmental considerations and engage with stakeholders to bring projects to life.

With exposure to projects across multiple sectors and jurisdictions, you'll develop a broad and highly valuable skillset while working closely with experienced professionals across development, technical, commercial,



legal and finance disciplines.

About the Role

- Managing a small team and mentoring other junior team members.
- Regulatory approvals strategies and environmental approvals processes
- Coordination of consultants, technical specialists and advisors
- Stakeholder engagement with landowners, communities, government agencies and regulators
- Cultural heritage, environmental and compliance workstreams
- Development risk identification and mitigation
- Supporting projects through development and delivery phases
- Site identification, assessment and due diligence activities
- Land acquisition and planning approvals across multiple jurisdictions

Skills & Experience

- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline
- Significant experience in land, planning, environmental approvals or project development
- Strong knowledge of Australian planning and environmental frameworks
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, ideally including NSW, Victoria and Queensland
- Proven stakeholder engagement and negotiation capability
- Strong commercial awareness and project management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
