University of Newcastle Health Service GP - Are you wanting to make a difference in young people's lives? We would love to hear from you! UON Health Service has a billing mix of public and private.

The University of Newcastle Health Service comprises a wonderful team of doctors, nurses, reception and administrative staff who are passionate about the well-being of staff and students who are a mix of domestic and overseas students.

The Health Service offers a fabulous team of GPs who are able to work flexible hours. The diverse and mainly young patient base includes domestic and international students, their families, and some University staff. Current students are bulk-billed, while staff and ex-students incur a private fee. The GPs are supported by two wonderful practice nurses and a kind and supportive team of administrative staff.

We offer extremely adaptable working conditions, with variable start and finish times and the option to choose preferred days. The clinic operates from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday,



with all after-hours care provided through our deputising service meaning you will have no after-hours duties or on-call work and no weekend work.

Located on the University of Newcastle’s Callaghan Campus, the clinic is situated about 9 km from Newcastle's city centre and is nestled within 140 hectares of natural bushland surroundings.
