Product Owner/ Customer Journey Expert – Data & Analytics – Sydney

Delivery Centric is seeking an experienced Product Owner – Data & Analytics with a strong background in business intelligence, data warehousing, and financial services. The ideal candidate will combine analytical and stakeholdermanagement skills with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and drive implementation in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate business needs into clear user stories, requirements, and documentation for business stakeholders and development teams.
- Conduct workshops with business, technical, and project teams to gather requirements and align on outcomes.
- Develop a strong understanding of systems, data flows, and data elements across various data stores.
- Provide meaningful insights and analysis to support business decisions and engage stakeholders at all management levels.
- Drive implementation by collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Support data quality and information management practices throughout delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

- Product Ownership / Customer Journey: 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Customer Journey Expert.
- BI / Data Warehousing: 5+ years of project experience in Business Intelligence, data warehousing, or a related function, including at least two years in financial services or banking.
- Business Analysis: Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and documentation.
- Client Engagement: Experience in client-facing roles and conducting workshops with business, technical, and project teams.
- Data Understanding: Ability to understand systems, data flows, data stores, and data quality principles.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication, presentation, process documentation, and writing skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Agile Delivery:



Experience working in an Agile delivery workplace and driving implementation.
