Approach Consulting is assisting a national firm looking for a Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join its Adelaide Tax Services team.
The role
You'll lead engagements for South Australian mid-market clients across a mix of industries. You'll work directly with the tax partners and be trusted to run your own client relationships, not just the compliance behind them.
Day to day, you'll:
- Own client relationships and be the person they call first
- Support partners on ATO risk reviews and audits, transfer pricing, and general advisory work across a wide range of tax matters
- Review tax effect accounting calculations and consolidated income tax returns
- Review FBT returns
- Review quarterly tax updates and client communications
- Help deliver technical training across the division
- Advise other internal teams on tax questions
- Coach and develop junior staff
About you
- Accounting degree (or similar), and holding CA or CPA (or equivalent)
- Business Services or Advisory background
- Solid communicator, written and verbal
- A team player who builds relationships easily and holds a high professional standard
