The Isa Hotel, Mount Isa, part of Waymark Hotels, is seeking an experienced and Hotel and Motel Manager to join the team! Supporting the day-to-day operations of the hotel, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, leading the team, and helping ensure the smooth and efficient running of the venue.

As a Hotel and Motel Manager, your daily responsibilities will include:

- Directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities
- Planning and supervising bar, restaurant, function and conference activities
- Observing liquor, gaming, and other laws and regulations
- Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

Successful Candidate:

To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:

- Previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Availability to work any hospitality hours
- Ability to work well under a high-pressure environment
- Brilliant communication skills to all team members

Applicants should have formal qualifications and at least 1 years of relevant employment experience or, in the absence of formal qualifications,



have at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues): Required to ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
- Approved Manager’s License: Necessary for managing licensed areas and ensuring legal operation.
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol): Essential for serving alcohol responsibly and adhering to legal requirements.
- RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling): Required to oversee gambling activities in a responsible manner.
- CLO (Customer Liaison Officer) Certification: Significant for handling customer inquiries and complaints effectively, especially in a licensed venue.

If you do not currently hold all of the mandatory qualifications, you will be required to obtain them before commencing.

- Full-time salary between $80,000 - $90,000 + Superannuation depending on experience
