TAG – Talent Acquisition Group is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Freight Handlers to join a busy, well-established national transport and logistics operation based in Matraville, NSW.
We have opportunities available for motivated individuals who enjoy working in a rapid-paced, team-oriented environment and are looking for consistent afternoon and evening work.
About the Role
As a Freight Handler, you will play an significant role in supporting daily freight operations, ensuring incoming and outgoing shipments are processed safely, accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks and freight vehicles.
- Sorting, scanning and processing incoming and outgoing freight.
- Moving and organising freight within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Performing repetitive manual handling duties.
- Ensuring freight is handled safely and accurately.
- Working to operational deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in freight handling, warehousing, logistics or similar environments is advantageous.
- Ability to safely undertake repetitive manual handling duties.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Availability to work afternoon and evening shifts.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
