A well-established Australian infrastructure company is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to act as technical authority across its mission-critical power infrastructure. You'll lead complex design and troubleshooting work, act as SME escalation point for major incidents, and guide field teams through both up-to-date and legacy electrical systems.
Key Skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
- Advanced understanding of electrical regulations, statutory requirements and AS/NZS 3000.
- Expert-level experience across standby generation, UPS, ATS, metering, switchboards, earthing and surge protection.
- SME-level capability in root-cause analysis, troubleshooting and operational diagnostics.
- Ability to review complex electrical design submissions and coach others.
- Advanced experience in onsite commissioning.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and PowerCAD.
- Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to rapidly absorb and disseminate complex technical information.
Non-essential/Beneficial Skills
- Experience acting as a Design Authority or design review lead.
- Experience overseeing contractors on engineering and safety standards.
- Exposure to bid development and technical solutioning.
