Morson Edge is partnering with an established commercial mechanical services contractor seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join its team. With projects spanning hospitality, retail, commercial buildings and education facilities, this is an opportunity to lead project delivery across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

The Role

You’ll oversee commercial HVAC and mechanical services projects from initial award through to final handover, balancing commercial outcomes, client expectations, quality and safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing project budgets, schedules and cash flow
- Reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications and scopes of work
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, labour and site resources
- Monitoring site progress, workmanship and safety standards




- Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Managing variations, project risks and value‑engineering opportunities
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification
- Working closely with internal teams to support project delivery across South East Queensland

About You

You’ll bring a practical understanding of commercial HVAC installations, strong project management skills and the ability to lead people while keeping projects on track.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Experience delivering commercial HVAC or mechanical services projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical services installation and site operations
- The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and project schedules
- Experience managing project costs, subcontractors and deadlines
- Commercial awareness and knowledge of relevant Australian and New Zealand Standards
- Robust communication, organisation and leadership skills
- Around five or more years of commercial HVAC industry experience
- Full working rights in Australia
