The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will lead a team of lawyers and legal professionals responsible for complex agreements, negotiations, governance matters and strategic legal advice. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across a broad range of high-value projects and commercial initiatives.
About You
You are a commercially minded lawyer with strong technical ability, excellent judgement, and the confidence to manage complex matters with a high degree of autonomy. Experience in commercial,
projects, disputes, resources, energy, environment and planning, or related practice areas will be well regarded. Ideally, you will have:
- Around 5+ years' post-admission experience, although outstanding candidates at other levels will be considered.
- Training from a leading law firm and/or experience in a sophisticated in-house workplace.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership capability and a collaborative approach
