Gensites Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. Located in the Parramatta area, this workshop role offers flexible hours, and you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding work across various applications, utilising your technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure all work meets industry standards and client specifications.

What you'll be doing

Performing welding operations using a variety of welding techniques including MIG, stick and gouging

Preparing workpieces for welding, including grinding, and positioning materials

Inspecting completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and safety requirements

Maintaining welding equipment and ensuring all tools and equipment are in proper working condition

Following all workplace health and safety procedures and regulations

Collaborating with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule

Documenting welding work and maintaining accurate records as required

What we're looking for

Current welding qualification or recognised welding certification

Proven experience as a welder in commercial or industrial settings

Proficiency in welding techniques and the ability to work with various metals and materials





Strong understanding of welding safety standards and workplace health and safety requirements

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Physical fitness

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Reliability and punctuality
