About The Opportunity

We currently have an prospect for an Accountant to join the Finance team. Reporting to the GL Accountant
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger, keeping accounts accurate and reconciled
- Drive the month-end and year-end close,
including journals for accruals, prepayments, depreciation and amortisation
- Prepare monthly financials (balance sheet, cash flow) with clear management commentary
- Manage the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals and depreciation schedules
- Prepare bank reconciliations and clear outstanding items promptly
- Assist with PAYG withholding, superannuation guarantee and payroll tax reporting
- Support the annual tax return and statutory reporting process
About You
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience as an Accountant or similar
- Hands‑on accounting experience with strong general ledger responsibilities.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Competency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
