Engineering Trades Australia is seeking Dual-Traded Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians for an upcoming shutdown with a major mining operation near Cloncurry, QLD.
This chance is suited to experienced dual-trade professionals with a strong mining background, particularly those who have worked across surface operations, processing plants or mills.
The Details
- Rate: $100/hr
- Shutdown: Thursday 5 November - Sunday 8 November 2026
- Roster: 12-hour shifts
- Fly In: Wednesday 4 November
- Fly Out: Monday 9 November
- Travel: FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns
- Positions: 2
- Location: Near Cloncurry, QLD
Travel and Pay:
- Shutdown shifts: 12 hours paid per day.
- Fly-out day (9 November):
- Dual-trade qualifications in Electrical and Instrumentation.
- Previous mining experience, ideally across surface operations, mills or processing plants.
- Shutdown experience highly regarded.
- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets.
- A strong commitment to safety and site procedures.
- Availability for the full shutdown and travel schedule.
- MMQ medical (desirable)
