Thisheritage listed propertyis ideal for travellers seeking a beachside adventure or a relaxing getaway in a lively city. YHA Newcastle Beach features a range of private and co-living rooms with shared bathrooms and offers facilities, including a spacious self-catering kitchen, cozy guest lounge, and convenient proximity to public transport, cafes, and local attractions.

About the roleOur housekeeping staff plays a crucial role in maintaining the property's cleanliness and upholding the high standards expected of YHA properties.



This is a casual position - and after the summer period (November to April) can drop back to 1 to 2 shifts per week. .

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in housekeeping or as a Housekeeper, Room Attendant, or in commercial cleaning (ideal but not essential).

Willingness to work as part of a fun, busy team.

Flexible availability for a 24/7 roster, Monday to Friday shifts as well as some weekend and night shifts available (This is a part-time position with a minimum of 15 hours per week.)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
