We are seeking a Casual Front Office Reception to join The Lurline team in Potts Point and Randwick hotels, NSW. This is a casual position offering flexibility whilst providing an essential service to our guests. As a Front Office Reception team member, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating positive first impressions and ensuring a warm welcome to our establishment. This role is fundamental to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the professional standards that define The Lurline.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting guests with warmth and professionalism as they arrive at the property
- Managing check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
- Responding to guest enquiries and requests in a timely and helpful manner
- Processing bookings, payments and administrative tasks with attention to detail
- Maintaining accurate records of guest information and stay details
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure guest requirements are met
- Providing information about local attractions, dining and services available in the area
- Handling guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism
- Assisting with general administrative duties as required
- Contributing to maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming front desk workplace

What we're looking for

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail




- Proficiency with computer systems and basic software applications
- Professional appearance and demeanour at all times
- Ability to remain calm and courteous when handling challenging situations
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays as required for casual employment
- Experience in hospitality, front office or customer service roles is highly desirable
- Reliability and punctuality in meeting rostered commitments
