Our front desk sets the standard for how patients experience our practice. In this role, you’ll help keep the practice running smoothly, support and guide the front-of-house team, and help us provide every patient with professional, considered care.

Receptionist – South West Rocks Dental
South West Rocks Dental is seeking a Receptionist to join our team 4 days per week. This role suits someone with robust communication skills who takes pride in delivering an excellent patient experience.
Our front desk sets the standard for how patients experience our practice. In this role, you’ll help keep the practice running smoothly, support and guide the front-of-house team, and help us provide every patient with professional, considered care.
- Being the first point of contact for patients, in person and by phone
- Managing appointment scheduling, patient flow, accounts and recall systems
- Supporting and guiding the front-of-house team
- Working with the practice owners, Dr David and Juanita Keir, and our Leadership Team to maintain and improve practice systems
About you
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A friendly, calm and professional manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A genuine commitment to patient care and customer service
- The ability to lead and support a small team, or a willingness to grow into this
- Dental or healthcare reception experience is highly regarded but not essential. Full training is provided.
