Our client, an established Sydney CBD boutique, wants an insolvency and restructuring lawyer who would rather run their own practice than be one of many in a large team. The role is a Salaried Partner or Special Counsel on a package of $250K to $300K, plus bonuses, with the expectation that your practice at least covers your salary.

About the role

Run an insolvency and restructuring practice as your own.

- Act for insolvency practitioners, creditors and directors
- Handle liquidation, administration and restructuring matters




- Bring your existing network and win recent work
- Use the firm's marketing and business development support
- Develop junior lawyers

What you'll bring

- Substantial insolvency and restructuring experience, typically 8 or more years
- A network or client base that can at least cover the cost of your salary package
- A business development mindset
- A current Australian practising certificate
- Willingness to work mainly from the Sydney CBD office
