About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our Melbourne studio in a full-time capacity. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who can operate strategically while also remaining hands-on in the day-to-day management of finance operations.

Reporting to the General Manager and senior leadership, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, supporting business decision-making and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function. You will work closely with stakeholders across the practice, providing trusted advice, resolving concerns effectively and contributing to a collaborative and high-performing culture.

This role is based in Melbourne and offers the flexibility to work from home one day per week.

Our Melbourne studio is conveniently located within walking distance of Southern Cross and Flagstaff stations, along with Bourke and Collins Street tram lines.



The office also offers excellent end-of-trip facilities, including lockers and towel service.

General Duties:

- Lead and manage the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting
- Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic financial insights and support business planning
- Drive financial performance, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Identify and implement best practice processes, efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and mentor finance team members to build capability and engagement
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and proactively resolve concerns and issues
- Support governance, audit and compliance requirements
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and operational success of the practice

About You:
You are a qualified finance qualified who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You are a confident communicator with strong leadership capability and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- CA or CPA qualification
- Demonstrated experience in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role




- Experience in a professional services environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work strategically while also managing operational detail
- Strong people leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and resolution of concerns
- A focus on best practice, efficiency and continuous improvement
- High attention to detail, organisational skills and commercial acumen
- Ability to work collaboratively while managing responsibilities independently
