We are exclusively partnering with a leading technology consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior D365 Finance Functional Consultant to join their leading team.

Working with a highly skilled consulting team, delivering complex D365 Finance implementations and helping enterprise customers improve their financial systems and business processes.

The Opportunity
Take ownership of functional delivery across the D365 Finance implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through to configuration, testing and go-live.

Working closely with customers, Solution Architects and technical teams, you'll help shape practical solutions, build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead functional workshops to understand customer requirements, financial processes and business challenges.
- Design, configure and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions aligned with customer needs and industry best practices.
- Provide functional expertise across core Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank Management, and Budgeting.
- Translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Support data migration, system integration, testing, user acceptance testing and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams, Solution Architects and project stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

About You We're looking for an experienced, customer-focused D365 Finance specialist who combines strong functional expertise with excellent consulting and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ideally, you'll bring:





- Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (D365 F&O;) implementations within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on configuration experience across core D365 Finance modules, particularly General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Experience across the full ERP implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing and deployment.
- Sound understanding of financial processes, accounting principles and financial controls.
- The ability to engage confidently with Finance Managers, Financial Controllers, CFOs and senior business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.

Exposure to Australian and New Zealand financial requirements, AP automation solutions or broader D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management functionality will be highly regarded.
