Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Waste & Resource Recovery to deliver a range of infrastructure projects focused on improving wastewater management, enhancing environmental outcomes and reducing operational risks across waste management facilities.

Location: Narangba, QLD
Contract Length: 4 months (extension tba)

This role will oversee small to medium infrastructure projects, including piping, pumping systems and wastewater treatment, managing activities from initial planning and procurement through to delivery and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage infrastructure projects across waste and resource recovery facilities.
- Oversee the planning, procurement, delivery and handover of capital works projects.
- Develop project options, business cases and recommendations for approval.
- Prepare scopes of work, contracts and procurement documentation.
- Engage and coordinate technical teams, contractors and operational stakeholders.
- Manage contractor performance, project budgets, timelines and progress reporting.
- Assess contractor payment claims and ensure contractual compliance.
- Provide technical engineering advice and ensure compliance with construction, WHS and environmental standards.

Skills and Experience:

- Extensive experience managing infrastructure and capital works projects,



ideally within waste management or wastewater environments.
- Strong engineering knowledge, particularly relating to piping, pumping systems or wastewater treatment infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience managing procurement, contracts and contractor performance.
- Sound understanding of construction legislation, Australian Standards, WHS and environmental requirements.
- Robust stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects within agreed timeframes.
- Engineering qualifications or a related discipline will be highly regarded, with relevant practical experience also considered.
- White Card competency obtained or used within the past two years.
- Current C Class driver's licence.

Experience delivering projects within landfill, waste management or resource recovery environments, along with knowledge of sustainability frameworks, will be highly regarded.
