Position Summary:

The Suspension Technician is responsible for the repair/service of FOX/Marzocchi Bicycle suspension products as well as Easton/Race Face componentry. This includes but is not limited to:

· Suspension Servicing and tuning.

· Ensure timely repairs to meet KPI’s.

· Inspect, clean, and repair Fox, Race Face, Easton & Marzocchi products to factory standards.

· Maintain a clean and organised work area.

· Reporting to the Service Manager of any issues over and above the standard service.

Position Responsibilities:

· Complete tear down and rebuild of FOX, Race Face, Easton & Marzocchi bicycle products.

· Clean and inspect all internal and external assemblies for wear or damage.

· Understand technical problems effectively through proper analysis, evaluation and diagnosis.

· Contact Service Writer/Service Manager if repair will cost more than original estimate given to the customer.

· Ensure proper function and quality standards set by FOX, Race Face, Easton & Marzocchi on all repairs.

· Follow all processes and procedures that are in effect for the operation of the department.

· Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations within the department.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

· Ability to use tools properly without causing harm and damaging products.

· Positive communication skills to explain in detail mechanical problems with product.

· Understand and execute detailed instructions given by Supervisor/Service Manager.

· Ability to read technical drawings/ engineering documents.

· Valuable computer skills. Ability to use database for part searches, etc.

· May be asked to travel or participate in FOX, Race Face, Easton & Marzocchi events out in the field.

· Ability to work within a fast-paced and team-oriented environment and meet productivity and quality goals.

· Able to work autonomously and initiative under direction of management team whilst being an integral team member.

· Need to be highly organised and proactive.

Position Qualifications:

Experience:

· Previous bicycle/bicycle shop/bicycle suspension experience is preferred.

In the first 12 months, successful candidates will:

- Perform services on assigned aftermarket suspension products, follow FOX procedures, complete training, and develop product knowledge, tool proficiency, and technical skills.

- Evaluate products, provide repair estimates, familiarise with internal software and technical documentation, and meet quality and productivity expectations while understanding service related liabilities.

- Build a strong foundation in suspension service, communication, and customer satisfaction while developing the skills and work habits needed to support team success.

In 12 to 24 months, successful candidates will:

- Independently service a broader range of aftermarket and OEM suspension products, perform product tuning, read engineering drawings, and use specialised tools and technical equipment.

- Demonstrate strong product knowledge,



resolve technical challenges, provide accurate repair estimates, and consistently meet productivity and quality expectations.

- Support outdoor events, share technical knowledge, assist new employees, and contribute to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

In 24 to 36 months, successful candidates will:

- Perform factory level service across all aftermarket and OEM suspension products, including complex repairs and custom tuning, using comprehensive product knowledge, engineering drawings, and advanced test equipment.

- Demonstrate advanced diagnostic and problem solving skills, maintain exceptional quality standards, and provide technical expertise to support service operations and customer satisfaction.

- Mentor other technicians and customer service staff, support new product development and cross functional collaboration, and serve as a technical leader within the service centre.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

· May require walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time

· Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer

· Capable of lifting items up to 20kg
