About the role
Just Automotive Recruitment is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a growing workshop team. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work across a varied fleet of trucks and heavy equipment in a stable day-shift environment with ongoing overtime available.

Duties

- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy vehicles and fleet equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Complete rebuilds on components including transmissions, differentials, and clutches




- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
- Work collaboratively with the workshop team to maintain fleet reliability and minimise downtime

Skills and experience

- Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or relevant trade certification
- Proven experience working on heavy vehicles, trucks, or mobile plant equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Experience with electric-over-hydraulic systems highly regarded
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
