You'll take ownership of your projects, including programming, financial performance, subcontractor management, procurement, client relationships, safety, quality and overall project delivery.

We're looking for someone who is organised, commercially minded and solutions-focused, but equally important is someone who can build strong relationships and work collaboratively with our site teams, clients, subcontractors and wider Kardan team.

Key Responsibilities

As Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the financial performance of your projects, including forecasting, cost control, variations, claims and project reporting.

- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal resources.

- Reviewing scopes, drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.

- Procurement of subcontractors, materials and services with a strong focus on value for money and project outcomes.

- Liaising directly with clients and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

- Monitoring project progress and proactively identifying and resolving issues.

- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time,

within budget and to Kardan's quality standards.

- Managing project documentation, reporting, compliance and handover requirements.

- Working closely with Site Managers/Supervisors and providing support, direction and leadership to project teams.

- Ensuring subcontractors and site personnel comply with WHS requirements, SWMS, JSA's and relevant project procedures.

- Undertaking site inspections and monitoring quality and compliance.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

- Supporting and mentoring team members and contributing positively to the continued growth of Kardan.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong understanding of commercial construction and the ability to take genuine ownership of their projects.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience managing commercial construction projects.

- Relevant building, construction, project management and/or trade qualifications.

- Strong commercial and financial management skills.

- Experience managing project budgets, procurement, subcontractors, variations and claims.

- The ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and project delivery.

- A sound understanding of WHS requirements and construction safety documentation.

- Strong contract administration and project reporting capabilities.

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Confidence liaising directly with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other stakeholders.

- Strong computer literacy and experience using construction/project management software and Microsoft Office.

- A collaborative leadership style and willingness to support and mentor others.

- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to project challenges.

- High standards of professionalism, integrity and accountability.

- Current Australian driver's licence.

- Construction White Card.

Experience delivering Government, education, health, refurbishment, fit-out and/or public-sector construction projects will be highly regarded.

Remuneration & Benefits

We recognise that attracting experienced Project Managers requires a competitive package and the chance to be part of a business where you can genuinely make an impact.

The successful candidate will be offered:

- $140,000–$160,000 salary + superannuation, depending on experience and capability.

- Vehicle allowance OR company vehicle + fuel card, depending on the agreed employment package.

- Company mobile phone/phone allowance.

- Permanent full-time employment.

- A strong and diverse pipeline of projects.

- Support from an established Operations, Project Management, Site and Administration team.

- A flexible and family-oriented working environment.

- Genuine opportunities for career progression as Kardan continues to grow.

- The opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects throughout Western Australia.

- The opportunity to be part of an Aboriginal-owned business delivering meaningful social outcomes alongside successful construction projects.
