About the role

As an Office All Rounder, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily business activities within the carpet, flooring, blinds, shutters, and window furnishings industry. You will be the first point of contact for customers, support sales and installation teams, and assist with administrative and financial tasks. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

- Greet customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to email enquiries

- Assist customers with product information, quotations, and appointment bookings

- Manage customer follow-ups and maintain strong customer relationships

- Perform general administrative duties including filing, data entry, document preparation, and record management

- Maintain customer databases and update job information accurately

- Schedule measure-and-quote appointments and coordinate installation schedules

- Liaise with suppliers, installers, and customers regarding project timelines

- Support the sales team with quotations, order processing,



and customer communications

- Process invoices and customer payments, and assist with bookkeeping tasks

About you

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong organisational and time management abilities

- High level of attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Strong customer service focus and positive attitude

- Previous experience in administration, office coordination, customer service, or reception (desirable)

- Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar (desirable)

- Friendly and professional manner, reliable and dependable

- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with strong problem-solving abilities
