SkyConst is a Brisbane-based residential building company specialising in the design and construction of high-quality Granny Flats and residential homes across South East Queensland. We’re looking for a hands-on, organised Site Manager to oversee our residential construction projects across Brisbane and surrounding areas.

The opportunity

You’ll manage day-to-day construction across multiple sites, working closely with our management team, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This role suits someone who can plan ahead, take responsibility and resolve problems before they affect progress. You’ll have the autonomy to organise daily site activities, supported by a team that values clear communication and accountability.

What you’ll do

- Manage multiple granny flat projects from site preparation through to completion and handover.

- Prepare and maintain construction schedules, coordinating trades, deliveries, equipment and inspections.

- Supervise subcontractors and check that work follows approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

- Monitor workmanship at each construction stage and ensure defects are addressed promptly.

- Maintain safe, tidy and well-organised sites.

- Track progress, labour and material requirements, identifying delays and cost implications early.

- Coordinate inspections with certifiers, engineers and other consultants.

- Keep accurate site records, including progress photos, delivery records and outstanding work.

- Communicate regularly with management and relevant team members about progress, issues and upcoming activities.

- Coordinate final inspections,



defect rectification and handover preparation.

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience independently supervising Australian residential construction projects.

- Ability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities.

- Sound knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing and quality requirements.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

- Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills.

- Confidence coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.

- A practical approach, attention to detail and consistent follow-through.

- Confidence using email, digital schedules and site reporting tools.

- A current driver’s licence and White Card.

- Relevant trade or building qualifications.

- Experience with granny flats, light steel frames, concrete slabs, brick veneer and external cladding is highly regarded.

- Mandarin language skills are an advantage but not necessary.
