As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a key role in promoting oral health and supporting patients in maintaining healthy smiles. You will work closely with our dentists and support staff to deliver high-quality preventative and therapeutic dental care.
Key responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene assessments and treatments.
- Conduct skilled teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing.
- Take and interpret dental radiographs where permitted.
- Provide oral health education and preventative care advice.
- Provide in-chair and take-home whitening treatments.
- Develop and implement personalised oral health care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and workplace health and safety standards.
- Build strong, professional relationships with patients and the dental team.
About you
- Current registration with the relevant Dental Board/AHPRA.
- Degree or qualification in Dental Hygiene.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Dental 4 Windows is advantageous.
