Receptionist / Customer Service Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, energetic and reliable Receptionist / Customer Service Assistant to join the HitFit team.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced workplace and can help create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for our members.

Candidates must be available to work Monday - Friday 3pm -8:30pm

As the first point of contact for members and visitors, you will play a big role in making people feel comfortable, supported and excited to be part of the gym.

Key responsibilities include:

- Greeting members and visitors as they arrive

- Answering phone calls, emails and messages

- Assisting with bookings, enquiries and appointments

- Helping members with account questions and general support

- Checking members into classes

- Following up missed calls and enquiries

- Processing POS sales including merchandise, drinks and gym products

- Assisting with membership sign ups and paperwork

- Managing membership payments, account updates, pauses and cancellations





- Helping members with payment issues and membership enquiries

- Keeping the reception area clean, tidy and organised

- Assisting with basic admin tasks and data entry

- Supporting the coaching and sales team where needed

- Helping maintain a positive and high-energy culture within the gym

What we are looking for:

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Friendly, confident and outgoing personality

- High energy and positive attitude

- Reliable and organised

- Comfortable speaking with new people

- Ability to multitask in a busy environment

- Previous reception, customer service or fitness industry experience is preferred but not essential

- Available for mainly evening shifts

- Evening shifts typically run from 3pm to 8:30pm
