About The Nature School

Based in beautiful Port Macquarie, NSW, The Nature School caters for 200 students from Kindergarten to Year 10. We are looking for an exceptional Primary educator to join us as we expand our leadership team and create an additional Assistant Head of School role in 2027. This is a full time role.

At The Nature School our classroom extends beyond the mudbrick walls of our building. There is an emphasis on integrated learning across subject areas, and students are given time to engage with the natural world. Students at The Nature School are encouraged to take risks, make mistakes, persist, think outside the box, assess situations from different perspectives and work cooperatively. Teachers are encouraged to do the same!

Our Assistant Head (Primary) will work closely with existing Assistant Head (Secondary), and with staff, students and families - alongside Catherine Shaw (Head of School). Like all educators at TNS,



our Leadership team must have a love for the natural world and embrace teaching and learning outdoors.
