Key responsibilities
- Determining menu offerings, stock levels and customer service standards
- Developing and implementing purchasing, promotional and marketing strategies, including menu pricing
- Promoting the cafe's food, beverages and services to attract customers and increase sales
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all customers
- Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, supplier orders, and sales
- Managing budgets, monitoring expenditure and overseeing the businesses financial performance
- Recruiting, training, supervising and supporting staff to ensure efficient cafe operations and high service standards
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, food safety regulations and relevant hospitality standards
